A little effort to turn tears into smile
The purpose of Human Rights Security & Vigilance Council is to educate people about human rights so they become valuable advocates for tolerance and peace. It has been realized that cultural, economic, political and social rights can be given to the citizens only by inculcating that feeling of human rights among the people and making them active and belligerent for the protection and realization of such rights. A culture of human rights can be created but it requires a collective effort. The creation of a fear-free, exploitation-free, deprivation-free and prejudice-free environment can be ensured only with the participation of the entire society. Certainly, non-governmental organizations can become more successful in this. Keeping the sacred objective of these public welfare work in front, the Human Rights Security & Vigilance Council has been established under the chairmanship of Saleem Sugandh, in which various sections of the society i.e. professors, advocates, business class, social workers and senior retired officials are included and it is duly registered by the government.
Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, regardless of race, sex, nationality, ethnicity, language, religion, or any other status. Human rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom from slavery and torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to work and education, and many more. Everyone is entitled to these rights, without discrimination.
Working whole-heartedly towards above mentioned rights by raising awareness through various programs is the Council's mission.
